🌱 Why drink iced tea or infusions?
Iced teas offer a refreshing and enjoyable experience, perfect for hot summer days. They allow you to enjoy complex and subtle flavors while staying hydrated. Unlike sugary drinks, iced teas are often naturally calorie-free and can be enriched with fruits, herbs or spices to add a touch of flavor without compromising lightness. Plus, this gentle brewing method retains the benefits of herbs and teas while offering a healthy alternative to carbonated or sugary drinks. Whether you're quenching your thirst or relaxing, iced teas are an elegant and tasty option.
🍵 How to prepare your infusion properly
Infusions (anything that doesn't contain tea) don't mind being steeped for longer, making them ideal for the absent-minded. On the other hand, infusions containing citrus fruits can become bitter if steeped for too long, so don't forget them!
Infusion : Heat the water: 90°C. Infusion quantity: 1 teaspoon (4g) per cup. Infusion: 5 to 7 minutes.
Good tasting !
❄️ And in iced infusion?
Put 10 to 20g of infusion for 1L of cold or room temperature water. Divide into two disposable tea bags Le Jardin de Mademoiselle. Iced tea is not an exact science: the colder the water and the larger the container, the slower the tea will infuse. Taste after the first hour. If it does not have enough flavor, add 30 minutes. Taste every additional 30 minutes until its flavors are diffused into the water.
