    Rooibos, Lemon, Ginger.

100 gram bulk bag or box.

Sparkling infusion with lively and refreshing flavors , enhanced by the peppery note of ginger.

    No theine. No added sugar.

A cup of Rooïbos "Matriochka" will be your perfect ally without theine. It will give you that perfect little boost to survive a busy day. The honeyed base of Rooïbos is enriched with the round notes of orange and a touch of pepper for a lively and gourmet tasting.

What is now called a "Russian taste" is a black tea (from China, India or blended) to which citrus essences have been added. This trend comes to us from the 19th century, during which black tea was enhanced with a slice of orange, bergamot or lemon.

    🌱 What is Rooibos?

Rooibos is a shrub of the acacia family that grows exclusively in South Africa in acidic and poor soil.

Commonly called "red tea", this is a misnomer since this plant does not come from the tea plant and, therefore, does not contain tannin or theine unlike tea. It can therefore be drunk without risk throughout the day.

Rooibos has a strong antioxidant power and therefore slows down the aging of cells. It would reduce stress, skin problems (eczema, skin allergies), infant colic, stomach aches. But no serious research has yet been carried out.

🍵 How to prepare your Rooïbos properly

Rooibos has a sweet, almost honeyed flavor. It is infused in water between 80 and 95°C for 5 to 10 minutes depending on the desired intensity. It does not develop any bitterness even when its infusion is prolonged. Its liquor is almost brown red.

    ❄️ Cold infusion

Place 20 to 30 grams of infusion (2 to 4 tablespoons) in 1L of water at room temperature. Let it infuse for between 1 hour and a whole night depending on the desired strength. The longer the fruits have infused, the more fragrant and delicious the resulting liqueur will be. You can keep it for a few days in a cool place.
