Note: In our creation "Bouton de Clochette", the lily of the valley is an aroma reproduced in the workshop identically to that found in nature, it is therefore a faithful double of its perfume. But it is important to emphasize that our lily of the valley aroma is not an essential oil extracted directly from the flower itself. Rather an aromatic composition created to capture its essence with precision. This method guarantees not only the safety, but also the authenticity of the aroma, eliminating any risk of intoxication.

    🌱 What is oolong?

Oolong or Wulong is called "blue tea" after the color of its dry leaf, a beautiful dark blue, almost iridescent. It is what is called a semi-oxidized tea (or semi-fermented , but this name is a bad translation of the English term: semi-fermented.). It is halfway between non-oxidized green tea and black tea with high oxidation.

Depending on its oxidation (light, medium or strong), it will have a fresh and floral flavor, a buttery and nutty flavor or even a coffee flavor, almost caramelized. Its liquor varies between pale green and dark brown, always depending on its oxidation.

Oolong is a tea that generally has very little theine , so it can be drunk until late afternoon.

🍵 How to prepare your oolong properly

Black teas are less fragile than green or white teas, so they are prepared between 80 and 90°C.

A black tea will infuse for between 3 and 5 minutes. More, if you like your teas full-bodied. But be careful, the longer the infusion and the higher the water temperature, the more bitterness develops.

These instructions are important because they help preserve not only the taste of the tea, but also its health-giving properties.

    ❄️ Cold infusion

Put 10 to 20g of tea in 1L of cold or room temperature water. Divide into two disposable tea bags Le Jardin de Mademoiselle. Iced tea is not an exact science: the colder the water and the larger the container, the slower the tea will infuse. Taste at 20 minutes and then every 5 minutes until the taste of your tea suits you perfectly. Keep for 3 days in the refrigerator.
